What food do we enjoy while on tour?

Breakfast: Cereals, coffee, tea, fruit-juice, eggs, toast, fruits.
Lunch: Light meal – usually enjoyed at a picnic spot between different camps. Sandwiches, fruit-juice, coffee/tea.
Dinner: Steak, lamb or chicken prepared on the ‘braai’ (barbeque fire) together with vegetables, rice and desert.
Important: Kalahari Safaris also caters for vegetarians.

Do we walk long distances?

No – we walk according to guests requirements!

How do I get to Upington?

There are daily intercity buses from all major South African cities. Visit: www.intercape.co.za.
Upington airport has direct links form Cape Town and Johannesburg. Visit: www.saairlink.co.za.

How do I get to my guesthouse on arrival in Upington?

Please ask your guesthouse to transfer you from the airport/bus station. Kalahari Safaris will pick you up on the day of your tour and deliver you safely at the guesthouse of your choice after your Kalahari Experience.

Is the Kalahari a malaria area?
